Car owners Black: Really Is it bad to have a black car in hot climates?

I live in Texas and reeally hot, I feel we should not buy a car if it is black due to the idea that they become more heat. Is this true? If the AU is working well, it's really a question? Just found many of the black Nissan, she was like new, I should think that even despite from black, or should stick with lighter colored car? What's your experience?

Oh, yes! Although the AC will cool down, the first 10 to 20 minutes the car is still warm. Let me just give story of my black Honda Civic.
